My home state!
Today we were able to spend part of the day with lots of family members. This is about as close as we'll come to our home in Cincinnati on this tour, yet today we saw my mother and stepfather, Paula's father, and Paula's brother. It's great to get to see some family!
Everyone but Paula's brother stayed in the hotel with us last night. We headed towards our Ohio show (Paula's father came along), and we met up with Paula's brother, Jason, in Sandusky, Ohio. Everyone had lunch at Lee's Famous Recipe (it's father's day tomorrow and that was the place Paula and Jason always went with their dad).

After saying goodbye to Chester, we set off for our show venue. Jason followed- he really loves to explore different areas, and if you ever need to know how to get somewhere, not only can Jason tell you the best route to get there, but he'll tell you all about the good radio and TV stations in that area. He's truly a walking encyclopedia of that type of information (as well as having memorized every important date EVER, the running order of all the Andy Griffith episodes, and he's got quite a knowledge of 80s rock and roll- although he and I compete for the title on that one).
Our show tonight was at Kenisee campground. The manager is one of the nicest ladies you'll ever meet! We shared the stage with a great band. Now, I mentioned Andy Griffith above- funny, would you believe that this band was named "Ernest T"? Is there possibly a cooler name than that?

Our show was very well received. Really, places like this are loads of fun because you have a family crowd that's already there to have a great time- so if I can add to that, what a great job to have!
I just realized that I don't have many performance photos on this blog. Here's an illusion that we've enjoyed performing for nearly 13 years:
The show was a bit of a challenge because people were seated literally all around, so that can be an issue with bad sight lines exposing things we don't want seen. We've had to deal with that before, though, so we have a way to do so. This crowd was lots of fun!
So, tomorrow it's Pennsylvania. We'll be at a morning church service- and on Father's day! This one should be lots of fun!
