Our audience last night in Topeka was amazing!
Given the nature of what we do, the Dalton family travels a lot. Any time we head West or are coming back home, we usually end up passing through Kansas at some point. It's a beautiful place! For some reason, though, we have only done a handful of actual shows in the state. So, it was wonderful to bring our show to Topeka last night!
We performed for LifePoint church. They had everything set up and ready for our arrival. Russ, the lighting tech, got everything adjusted and had the stage looking great. The show was a blast! We got to implement some new illusions, as well as new costumes for the whole cast!

Thanks to all the folks in attendance- we had a great time!
Now, when we travel, obviously there are substantial expenses for a family of seven (gas, food, and hotel every day on the road). Those add up quickly. BUT- here's something we weren't expecting. Not only did the church provide a great dinner for our family last night at Buffalo Wild Wings (one of our favorites!), but Pastor Darren has a deal in place with a hotel in Topeka, and he was able to take care of our room for a couple of nights before we head to Colorado. And the hotel? It's the Ramada downtown. This place is beautiful! If you're ever in Topeka and looking for a luxurious relaxing place with lots of things for the kids to do, I'd highly recommend it. Thanks Pastor Darren!

Grand Junction, CO is next. We can't wait!
