Had a great show in Alliance, Nebraska!
I typed the last blog post during a bit of rare down time. We rolled into Alliance in the very early morning hours and got a couple hours sleep, then headed off to Alliance Berean church to do a small "teaser" for the show at night. The preview was very well received!
So, we had a small break until time to go back and set up. We ate lunch at "Mi Ranchita", an awesome Mexican restaurant in town. That's one of the great things about a trip like this- you get to try all the local foods! We then needed a spot with Wifi and a nice lady in the restaurant suggested the library.

Our kids have always enjoyed the library! With the rise of "Digital this" and "Online that", libraries are closing up shop in lots of places. But as soon as you can, take your kids. They'll really like it, because as the old saying goes, what's old is new.
Lydia has a twin!
So- we got back to the church and set up. Even though we've been performers for many years, I had really hoped we'd get REALLY fast at our setup. So far, so good! We make small changes each time as to how something is loaded in and placed, so that we only touch it once before show time. The show was very well attended and the people there were so very generous at our product table afterward! The Pastor of the church, Glen, is a truly great guy- down to earth, helpful, and genuinely cares about his town.
Now that the show is finished, it's on to Rapid City, South Dakota, for the night.
(Spoiler- I'm typing this a day past the actual date, so I know what happened. It's a big one with lots of photos!)
